Making logos for Basement Jaxx’s new Junto Album

On 29, Aug 2014 | No Comments | In Business, Fun stuff | By Jane

Basement Jaxx have released their long awaited album Junto this week and we were asked to get involved with the launch event!

Basement Jaxx are a British electronic dance duo and we at Laserbean have liked them since their formation in the mid 90’s here in Brixton, South London, just up the road from us.

Last week we were approached to make large wall murals of their iconic logo for their new album launch “Junto”. We were happy to accept and were very excited in being involved as we are such avid fans of their more famous albums: Rooty 2001 and Kish Kash 2003.  This is the first full album in 3 years.

We sought the help of a local prop company to machine cut our logo file from laser MDF board and sanded the edges ready for the client to wrapped in dyed hessian string and hang. We wish them the best of luck and look forward to lots more albums!
