Here at Laserbean, we believe in doing good and feeling good about it! Jane is set to climb Ben Nevis; the highest mountain in the British Isles on Saturday 14th May 2016.
Standing at 1,344 metres above sea level, Ben Nevis’s peak is the collapsed dome of the volcano that imploded millions of years ago.
Kidney disease has affected members of my family and people we know. So this year we have chosen Kidney Research UK as our charity. They work hard to ensure that one day people’s lives will be free from kidney disease.
Their work relies almost wholly on donations from the general public, and it has achieved breakthroughs in the diagnosis, treatment and patient care of those affected by the disease. All donations will be going to Kidney Research UK .
So please help Jane in her quest to hit our £250 target and support a very worthy cause by donating here! We are very grateful for your support.
We were delighted to be involved at this year’s Blogtacular conference taking place on 13th June.

Believe it or not, this year we celebrate Alice’s birthday (Alice from Alice in Wonderland that is)!
We have decided to enter a design competition with our new gift ideas. Tell us what you think of our ideas.
We’ve had a super busy start to the year including helping to break a World Record!
We were delighted to be asked by London’s most influential graffiti artists at Graffiti Life to cut the stencils for the Sony Pictures ‘Chappie’ movie stunt. They wanted to do something big to mark the release of the film, and big it was – they ended up breaking the record for Europe’s largest piece of shareable art!
The New Year brings new projects. This January, we decided to focus on our masks for our sister company Leather Masquerade Masks.
Gareth was our brave volunteer and didn’t even want the straws for breathing… oh OK, well here goes!
Check out Graffiti Life’s Winter Showcase at their Shoreditch Gallery that will run until February 4th 2015.
We went along for the Private view of new art work made by local graffiti artists. Great work guys!
Can you spot our Gareth in the main photo, I managed to dodge it!

We work with Graffiti Life to make stencils for wall murals, selective cleaning and stencils needs.
If you would like to have some stencils made, get in touch for a quote.
We were so excited to help a fellow designer to bring a product to market. ZicsDesign approached us to see if we were able to engrave onto a cylindrical surface.
We have had similar projects of engraving champagne flutes and wine glass engraving, so we were confident in this type of engraving.
This week we helped Earth’s Deco to make some laser cut items and helped put some finishing touches to some craft products for their Vintage Market Stall. We laser cut some wooden hearts for hanging, and made stencils for spraying words onto plaques and wooden crates lovingly made from thrown away wood and painted a chintzy distressed effect by Tanya. We made some heart templates for Anca to make her stuffed lavender hearts too. Read more…
Gareth and myself (the Laserbean founders) and friends, Teena and Stuart went on a 10-day whirlwind driving tour across the country, visiting Bath, Forest of Dean and through mid Wales and lastly to Snowdonia National Park, where our friends at 4MAT joined us in the walk up Snowdon for Charity. Basement Jaxx have released their long awaited album Junto this week and we were asked to get involved with the launch event!
Basement Jaxx are a British electronic dance duo and we at Laserbean have liked them since their formation in the mid 90’s here in Brixton, South London, just up the road from us. Read more…
