We’ve had a super busy start to the year including helping to break a World Record!
We were delighted to be asked by London’s most influential graffiti artists at Graffiti Life to cut the stencils for the Sony Pictures ‘Chappie’ movie stunt. They wanted to do something big to mark the release of the film, and big it was – they ended up breaking the record for Europe’s largest piece of shareable art!
The New Year brings new projects. This January, we decided to focus on our masks for our sister company Leather Masquerade Masks.
Gareth was our brave volunteer and didn’t even want the straws for breathing… oh OK, well here goes!
We were so excited to help a fellow designer to bring a product to market. ZicsDesign approached us to see if we were able to engrave onto a cylindrical surface.
We have had similar projects of engraving champagne flutes and wine glass engraving, so we were confident in this type of engraving.
This week we helped Earth’s Deco to make some laser cut items and helped put some finishing touches to some craft products for their Vintage Market Stall. We laser cut some wooden hearts for hanging, and made stencils for spraying words onto plaques and wooden crates lovingly made from thrown away wood and painted a chintzy distressed effect by Tanya. Basement Jaxx have released their long awaited album Junto this week and we were asked to get involved with the launch event!
